Before their involvement in missions, Lonnie and Jill were actively involved in various ministries. He was an administrator and teacher at Christian Life College. Jill, as a talented musician, taught piano at the college. Lonnie was also involved as a teacher at Purpose Institute. The Vestals also planted a church in Ohio. During their year on AIM in Vanuatu, Lonnie spoke at various conferences. Jill is also involved in speaking. Lonnie is currently completing a book and is working on a prophecy DVD series. The Vestals were appointed intermediate missionaries in May 2021.
