Carter, Colleen L.

Colleen Carter was an associate in mission for eight years in Ghana with the Jim Poitras and Nick Sisco families. She helped with MK schooling; taught at the Bible school; operated the printing office; and assisted the missionaries in many other areas. Colleen received her missionary appointment to Ghana in September 2007. Upon arrival in Ghana after deputation, Colleen continued her work. In February 2012 she moved from the southern part of the country to the north and now resides in Tamale. She assists with the growth of the church primarily throughout the three northern regions and continues to do all that she can to further growth throughout the nation. Colleen teaches at the extension Bible school in Tamale; coordinates the printing office; is involved in training adults and children throughout the northern regions; serves as the West Africa Sub-regional missions’ secretary/treasurer; and is the Africa Aflame literature coordinator. She is working on establishing an oral Bible school and ministering in the female prison. In 2019 her field was changed to Gabon. Her profound love for teaching God's Word is now spanning nations of the Africa region.
