Blackburn, Mark - Kansas City Metro

Vision

In September 2016, the Blackburn family received a call from God to become metro missionaries to the greater Kansas City area. The Kansas City metropolitan area currently has only nineteen United Pentecostal churches for the 2.1 million residents. This is one church for every 110,000 people.

Their vision is to plant a growing and healthy multi-congregational Apostolic church that saturates the greater Kansas City area with the gospel of Jesus Christ through the planting of daughter churches, church campuses, and autonomous churches. They would like to see one hundred new United Pentecostal churches in the greater Kansas City area over the next twenty-five years.

Family Bio

Mark and Crystal have been married for twenty-two years and have two wonderful children that are excited to see what God will do in Kansas City through this new ministry endeavor. Anthony, who is fifteen years old, just started his sophomore year of high school. Anna, who is eight, just started the third grade.

The Blackburns have been in full-time ministry since 1998. Mark served as campus pastor of Gateway College of Evangelism for nine years and then as Vice President of the college for nearly five years. Since 2012 Mark has been at the Pentecostal Publishing House serving as Administrator.
