Ken and Kay Burgess were appointed missionaries in October 1991, after 27 months on the AIM program, and began their fifth term as career missionaries in Argentina in February 2010. Shortly after their return to the field, Ken felt it was time to step down as president of the work in Argentina, where he had served for the past seven years. Subsequently, Ken and Kay went to the country of El Salvador. As the missionary supervisor there, Ken served as director of the Bible school and on the national board. In February 2015 the Burgesses received a new appointment to Spain, where they began their sixth term. Since their arrival, they have served as pastors of Life Tabernacle Madrid. Ken has also served as district superintendent and director of education. Ken and Kay have been blessed to be a part of a great revival in Madrid, where they have opened seven new churches.
