Englishman John Hemus came to the U.S. in 1984. When he came to the Lord in 1990 in Annapolis, Maryland, he knew that one day he would return to England and that the Lord would use his family to show people the way to Jesus Christ. After entering the ministry, Hemus evangelized in the U.S., Canada, England and India. In 2001, the Hemuses became associates in missions to the United Kingdom. Upon arrival they began pastoring the Apostolic Church of Great Britain in Liverpool. They have witnessed the hand of God moving mightily on a dark and oppressed city. John and Sherri Hemus were appointed as UPCI missionaries to the United Kingdom in March 2004. He is the Central District Superintendent of Great Britain.
