Keith and Beth Ikerd served as assistant pastor in Longview, Washington, for five years before going to Namibia as associates in missions. In Namibia they taught Bible school students, established a new church and property and oversaw missionary work in Bophuthatswana (now a part of South Africa). After serving in Alaska for thirteen years, the Ikerds were appointed missionaries to Namibia, where Keith now serves as superintendent. There are thirteen churches, four preaching points, two satellite Bible schools and one full-time Bible school. Keith and Beth's goal is to develop pastors and young ministers to expand the work and establish more preaching points and churches.
