Explore the Need

Following a 2005-2006 AIM term in Estonia, Mark and Glenda Alphin were appointed as Global Representatives to Finland in 2007. The pioneering work includes four strong congregations in various cities, with three pastors serving on their leadership team. Over two-thirds of the constituency is involved in consistent discipleship training, thus continuing to establish a secure foundation for the church. Mark and Glenda were appointed to Iceland in 2021, and in 2024, the pioneering work there made missions history as multiple Associates In Missions served in-country for the first time. They are focused on building an effective team to assist with pre-evangelism prayer and making connections in-country; their goal is for the church to gain an Icelandic presence. Mark and Glenda have continued to utilize AIM in cities where the Lord has raised up believers. Interactive tools provide saints across Finland with the ability to join Bible studies, classes, weekly services, and more. Their passion is training and discipleship, as spiritual foundation is key to the sustainability of a work. Mark serves as the Chairman of UPCI Finland, along with serving as Global Representative to both Finland and Iceland. Both Mark and Glenda are ordained ministers with the United Pentecostal Church International.
