Joe Cooney is a first-generation Apostolic whose family is from Ireland. He was filled with the Holy Spirit in 1995 after an honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force where he did Search & Rescue and saved 183 civilian lives. He graduated from Indiana Bible College in 2001 and served as an AIMer from 2002 to 2010. He spent three and a half years in Ireland and three and a half years in London, England, evangelizing and assisting different ministries. Fanny Cooney is a fourth-generation Apostolic from France. She is an experienced conference interpreter and translates ministry curriculum. Receiving full missionary appointment at the 2010 General Conference, the Cooneys served as pastoral furlough replacements in Vienna, Austria, from 2011 to 2012. They served in Northern Ireland from 2014-2022, taking the pastorate of one church and planting a new one in the city of Belfast. In 2022 they transitioned to France where they are planting a church in the city of Lyon, the second largest city behind Paris, in population. In all their years in ministry and evangelizing throughout the UK, Ireland, Europe, the United States, and many other countries, thousands have been baptized, filled with the Holy Ghost, healed, and set free.
