Travis felt a call to Asia as a small child. He jointed the Marine Corps, and through this avenue, God brought him to Okinawa, Japan. While serving in the military, he started working under the AIM program. leading several cell groups on base, driving the church van, preaching, teaching Bible studies and ministering to the locals. In 2015 Travis moved to a different island to start a church in Miyakojima, Japan. During this time he was heavily involved in outreach, teaching Bible studies and Purpose Institute classes, as well as pastoring and working in the communities. It was through these efforts that he met his Japanese wife, Chihaya, who supports him greatly in church bookkeeping, worship, translation, counseling women, teaching Bible studies, outreach and preparing meals for cell groups. Travis and Chihaya were appointed intermediate missionaries in May 2022. They love the people of Japan and look forward to great revival.
