Mike and Jill Patterson are originally from Alabama and Texas, respectively. They started their involvement in missions in January 1990 as AIMers in Germany, right after the fall of the Berlin Wall. They pastored churches for the USA military in Kitzingen and Schweinfurt, Germany, for over three years. At the same time, they were exposed to the need of the newly opened countries of Eastern Europe. In 1992, they received appointment as career missionaries and are currently serving the countries of Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary. They split their residence between the capital cities of Bucharest, Romania, and Budapest, Hungary. Mike is the Area Coordinator of Eastern Europe which represents 114 million people. Both Mike and Jill speak Romanian. Revival and growth is anticipated as they return to the field to develop leaders for the future.
