Stephan was raised in Louisiana and Debra in Europe, in a military family. They married in 1992 and helped in churches in Georgia and Tennessee. In 2000, they began to feel a new direction as God opened doors in missions. Following a 2002-2003 AIM appointment to Greece and a 2008-2010 AIM appointment to Cyprus, their family was appointed in 2011 as the first UPCI representatives to Cyprus. Upon arrival there, they had one contact. Since then, the work has expanded from one to a church. In addition to discipling new people, they look forward to opening new works throughout their country. Cyprus is an occupied country, and they can work on both sides of the island. They can cross through the UN buffer zone to the occupied Turkish Cypriot side of the country, known as The Northern Republic of Cyprus. With the assistance of associates in missions, they are looking to expand the church's presence throughout the island. They are using online tools to have prayer meetings and Bible studies. Stephan serves on the Euro Evangelism Commission. Debra serves on the Euro Prayer Commissions and is the secretary to the Euro Ladies Ministries.
