Thad and EmmaLee have been involved in missions for a long time. Thad grew up as an MK in Madagascar, Togo and Benin before returning to the States to attend Indiana Bible College. During this time at IBC, he went on the AIM program to Benin for three months. EmmaLee went on an AYC trip to Costa Rica and then to Paraguay under the Next Steps program. She then went to IBC and after graduation went to Ghana for four months. After she came back, Thad and EmmanLee were married. They went back to Benin under AIM appointment and were then approved a year later as associate missionaries. While in Benin, they assisted in the Bible school by helping with office duties and teaching English classes. Thad preached and EmmaLee taught Sunday school. They were appointed intermediate missionaries in May 2024 and look forward to returning to Benin to help further the Kingdom of God by teaching, training and equipping the people of Benin.
